What is plein air painting?
Being outside in nature, this style of painting challenges me to paint quickly, adapting to light and elements.
She had submissions featured continually in the Western Producer as a child.

"During the pandemic,I started to paint a series called Rainbow Animals, as I wanted to give people a reason to smile & laugh. These pieces continue to delight my fans. I have been commissioned by many people to paint beloved pets in this fun style of painting.
I also learned to love the style of palette knife painting. The loose, bold strokes pair well with plein air painting. I enjoy summers of weekly plein air painting with the local Lumsden Arts Council
I love it when my art inspires others by sparking a memory for them, making them feel transported to another time or place."
